Business Development Manager - Oil and Gas recruitment


My client is a top 3 global player in the buoyant Oil and Gas recruitment sector, with offices in all the major Oil and Gas hubs around the world. Established for over 30 years, and with a client portfolio that includes numerous household names in the field, the company is primed for the next phase of its expansion.
As part of this planned growth, an opportunity exists for an experienced recruitment business development manager to join the successful operation in Canada. Operating out of the Calgary office, the successful applicant will play a key role in increasing presence and market share in Canada, both through tendering for and winning new business from new clients, and maximising income from existing ones.
The ideal candidate will be operating in a senior business development capacity in an oil and gas focused recruitment business, but a successful business developer from another discipline will certainly be considered. A successful track record is essential, as well as the capacity to work on numerous accounts and tenders at one time. Gravitas and credibility are also of great importance, as the successful applicant will be expected to be face to face with some of the industry's most senior people, negotiating hard.
