Is an award winning, exciting, international media and events business serving a senior, professional readership in the global finance and investment market. Due to continued expansion a role has arisen for a talented & ambitious conference producer to run their emerging markets portfolio.

Skills Required

The candidate will need to be a producer who will own and grow a suite of emerging markets events based in locations including Dubai, Turkey and Africa and who will lead their projects to develop the best portfolio of emerging markets private equity events bar none.

The successful candidate will:

- report directly to the Head of the EMEA Conferences Team

- manage the delivery of the portfolio working with the logistics managers in the London office

- develop the audience for the events alongside our in-house marketing team

- drive delegate sales for all their events with the inhouse telesales team

- work closely with colleagues in the conferences teams in the London, New York, Hong Kong and Singapore offices and with the editorial staff to develop and implement compelling agendas

- produce a portfolio of three emerging markets events (from launch to execution)

- sell sponsorship across their portfolio

- oversee and take responsibility for the P&L accounts for each of those events

- have fun and make good money

The ideal candidate will have:

- a background in either alternative assets (private equity, real estate or infrastructure) or financial journalism or a strong background in finance-focused B2B conferences

- the ability to bring a strong editorial focus to the development and implementation of the clients event calendar

- the ability to design relevant and interesting conference agendas and liaise with senior level speakers and sponsors to populate those agendas

- experience of communicating with senior level individuals - both internal and external - on a regular and professional basis

- experience of interacting with teams of telesales, logistics teams and marketing professionals working on individual events

- a clinical eye for detail

- P&L experience (or at the very least be comfortable operating and overseeing event budgets)
