Now through a period of growth and expansion they are pleased to announce the need for a Business Development Manager who can join their forward thinking sales team.

The Role
- As a BDM, you will be responsible for the sale and development of the company’s extensive line of fluid power equipment into the oil and gas arena.
- You will be expected to produce an equal split of new business and existing, and have the useful resource of being able to draw off an already established customer base.
- Mainly dealing within the general industrial and the oil and gas sector, you will be working in both sales and a consultative role advising on products and their use within projects.
- You will be based mainly on the road, and will be targeted by your call rate. To achieve this you will have complete autonomy to manage your time and calls.
- This role offers excellent and diverse opportunities for career progression for the ideal applicant.
- You will possess a proven track record in the sale of hydraulics, valves, hoses, pumps, compressors or pneumatics.
- An HND / HNC is advantageous although not essential as hands on experience will be equally considered.
- Experience in externally based selling and consulting is essential.
- The ability to talk competently about technical solutions is a necessity as is the ability to talk at every level.
- You will be customer focused relationship building individual with a will to succeed who seeks a rewarding career with a forward thinking and stable organisation.
