The WhatIf? project aims to research natural language dialogue and reasoning services to enable authors of ontologies to ask ‘what if. . . ?’ questions about changes they make to an ontology.
This position involves undertaking research exploring how ontology authors interact with both the tools and the ontologies they present so we can understand the authoring process and the dialogues that take place between the author and the tool/ontology.
We are seeking a research associate in human-computer interaction or a related area, with a postgraduate degree in computer science, human-computer interaction or a related area, or equivalent experience, as well as strong programming skills and experience of empirical data analysis, preferably data-driven user interaction modeling.
