The Northampton Business School (NBS) is ambitious, confident and entrepreneurial. With 88% of our students registering overall satisfaction (source: ABS 2012) we are ranked in the top 30% of UK business schools on this measure and in the top 15% for our teaching, whilst over 95% of our graduates are in employment or further study six months after graduating (source: DLHE 2012). Our School is financially strong, and staff turnover is low.
NBS is dedicated to achieving an excellent student experience, as measured by student satisfaction, retention, performance and employability. We are externally facing, internationally oriented and actively engaged in a wide and growing range of enterprise, social enterprise, corporate education & training, and applied research activity. Our staff deliver programmes in four continents and embrace enterprising behaviours. We continue to grow, despite national concerns in our sector, overachieving in 2012-13 on both home and overseas student recruitment targets and international, enterprise and research income.
Following our considerable recent success, we invite applications from dedicated, ambitious team players who share our enterprising approach. For this post, you will have a demonstrable specialism in corporate finance / banking, although you can expect to teach across our accounting and finance provision. An appropriate professional qualification is essential, and a Masters degree is highly desirable. In addition to teaching excellence, you will be expected to make a significant contribution in at least two of the following; corporate/executive education, overseas development and delivery, distance learning development and delivery, applied research, consultancy and business development.
In return we offer a pleasant, supportive working environment and considerable opportunity for personal growth and development. Moreover, you will be part of a continuing success story and will share in the accolades that follow.
