Research Radiographer (PET) Imperial College London -Department of Medicine Division of Experimental Medicine Salary Range: £32,930 – £40,720 per annum


A suitably qualified and experienced radiographer is required to operate the research PET scanner and facilitate PET studies at the Imperial College Clinical Imaging Facility (CIF). The CIF provides a research medical imaging service to scientists and clinicians combining Positron Emission Tomography (PET) and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) imaging modalities.
We are seeking to recruit either one full-time or two part-time (21 hours per week) Radiographer(s) to join our team and assist in the day-to-day operation of our imaging suite and support all activities relating to imaging studies in accordance with current Regulatory, ICH GCP standards, and requirements.
You must be registered with either with the Health Professions Council, IPEM or Voluntary Register for Clinical Technologists and have a relevant Radiography qualification. You will also have the ability to make complex decisions under pressure and, ideally, a working knowledge of the research environment. You should be familiar with ARSAC and IRMER procedures. 
Flexible working is required from the post holder since although most studies will run during business hours, some early morning, evening and weekend working may be required.
